The inaugural edition of the Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards has been launched, and nominations are now open. The awards, which was announced at a press conference on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at  Silverbird Cinemas, Accra Mall, seeks to celebrate and recognize celebrities and brands that are impacting society through their influence and resources .

The organisers, speaking at the launch, pointed out that celebrities and brands play a vital role in bringing about social change. The Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards are therefore conceived as a way to create a culture of responsibility and community engagement by rewarding those who genuinely contribute to charity and community development.

Other details announced at the press conference included the schedule of the awards ceremony, with nominations running from September 5 to October 5, 2024.

The awards dates are fixed in several categories for the presentation of various projects and the achievements of the applicants. As expected, influential figures from entertainment, business and philanthropy will come together in one event.
