Prince Mackay is a prominent Ghanaian event organizer, celebrated for his work as the founder and CEO of Big Events Ghana. He is best known for creating and organizing the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards, which recognize excellence in the Ghanaian media industry. Under his leadership, the RTP Awards have grown from a national event to a pan-African platform, with recent expansions to countries like Kenya, as he envisions making it one of the largest awards of its kind on the continent.
In addition to the RTP Awards, Mackay is also the driving force behind the Africa Gospel Awards Festival (AGAFEST), an initiative designed to unify and celebrate gospel music talents across Africa. The event has garnered significant attention and is now hosted in South Africa as part of a five-year plan to foster regional unity and expand gospel music’s influence across African communities.
Moreover, Prince Mackay has been involved in the Ghana Nigeria Music Awards USA, a collaborative event aimed at bridging cultural connections between Ghanaian and Nigerian musicians.
